Established in 1981, Thomas E. Rosensteel & Associates, Ltd. was a boutique law firm with primary concentration in the areas of estate planning, real estate, corporate and general business law.

The Firm was located in Chicago and St. Charles, Illinois. Through its affiliates, particularly in Chicago, the Firm provided its clients with exceptional representation in diverse practice areas, including civil litigation and bankruptcy.

The Firm defined success as achieving the intended legal result in the most timely and cost-effective manner, with personalized service which addresses the demands of each client, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and service.

For business and transactional work, fees were based upon an hourly rate measured against the time required to complete a particular assignment, with detailed invoicing issued to the Firm’s clients on a monthly basis. With regular detailed invoicing, the Firm kept its clients fully apprised of the status of each client matter and the costs associated therewith.

The Firm was proud to have maintained the highest rating given to law firms by Martindale Hubble, Inc. since the Firm’s inception. This “AV” rating signifies the highest level of achievement in legal ability, adherence to ethical standards, professional reliability and diligence, as determined by confidential reports from attorneys and judges in the Firm’s areas of practice.

Tom’s Experience

Tom’s 50 years as an attorney included extensive experience in all phases of estate planning, real estate law, trust administration, probate and general corporate and business law.
